Pin & Block U-Joints
The advantage to the pin and block style of universal joint is a high strength to weight, size and cost ratio. These universal joints are manufactured from high strength billet alloy steel and then heat treated to obtain maximum strength. Because the u-joints use pivot pins and blocks instead of sealed needle bearings, they must be checked and lubricated every time the vehicle is driven. A rubber boot is also available to retain lubrication. The smaller sizes are ideal for fabricating shift
